As a Data Protection Operations Co-op at Teck, you will work 8 months starting on January 4, 2027, while gaining exposure to cybersecurity, information management, and analysis. This role offers you the chance to assist with reporting, monitoring, and managing data protection risks alongside IT, Privacy, and Security teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Champion safety and follow environmental protocols
• Monitor Microsoft Purview DLP alerts and policy activities
• Analyze DLP trends and provide insights on policy performance




• Support quality assurance for sensitivity labeling and classification
• Prepare operational governance dashboards and reports
Requirements:
• Enrolled in a degree program related to Cybersecurity or Business
• Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent command of Microsoft Excel and data management
• Ability to document processes and communicate findings
• Experience with Power BI is a plus
