POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting directly to the General Manager, this position is responsible for the distribution of potable water to residential and commercial properties within the Yukon.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Delivery of water to residential and commercial customers
Accurate and timely processing of all paper-work, movement documents, new customer sheets
Ensuring proper water testing is being completed and recorded
Providing customer service, ensuring all activities are recorded
Maintenance and cleaning of vehicles, and other equipment
Ensuring the required PPE is used at all times
Versatile working schedule
Load & unload heavy objects (Be able to lift and maneuver a minimum of 50lbs)
Light mechanical duties such as greasing, oil changes, and basic maintenance
Ability to work safely and independently
Assisting with other TTLPI divisions as needed

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION
Valid Class 3 license with at least 5 years’ experience (required)
Clean driver abstract
Good customer service skills
Robust oral and written skills
Experience working with/around large equipment
Must work well in a team environment




Solid knowledge of Whitehorse and surrounding areas
Ability to work independently with instructions
First Aid Certificate considered an asset

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

This is a permanent full-time position. The salary for this position will be commensurate with experience. Please note that this position is not a remote camp position and is not eligible for relocation assistance.

A signing bonus of $2000.00 plus an Annual Safety Bonus of $2500.00 will be provided to the successful candidate after one year of continuous employment with General Waste Management is reached.
