We are seeking a friendly, motivated, and dependable Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is a kind, explicit communicator who enjoys helping patients, works well with others, and is eager to learn.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.4:30 p.m.
Responsibilities:
-Communicate with patients by phone and in writing
-Book and confirm appointments
-Answer and direct telephone calls
-Enter, update, and maintain accurate patient records
-Complete administrative tasks using electronic medical record software (Accuro)
-Provide general administrative support to the clinic team
When patient volume requires, you will also assist with basic patient work-up duties, including:
-Taking patient histories
-Checking visual acuity
-Instilling eye drops
-Operating diagnostic equipment
-Guiding patients through the clinic
You will work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Strong attention to detail is essential, particularly when entering and updating patient information.

Previous administrative experience, knowledge of eye anatomy, or familiarity with Accuro is an asset but is not required. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.
