is a full-time, salaried role with a base salary range of

$98,900–$165,200 CAD annually , with a flexible schedule that includes weekends, nights, and holidays.

You’ll lead a mixed team of

salaried and hourly employees

across Amazon’s fulfillment and delivery network, with responsibility for

safety, quality, attendance, and productivity

on your shifts.

Amazon’s operations workflow runs across three segments:

First Mile

(product storage and order readiness),

Middle Mile

(hauling orders to your area), and

Last Mile

(delivery to the customer’s door). As an Operations Manager, you’ll work across whichever of these workflows your site supports, driving performance through

data-driven decisions

and

analytical problem-solving

while holding customer delivery promises.

About the Role: Operations Manager Day to day, you’ll plan and execute

productivity targets

by reviewing forecasts, setting requirements, and coordinating with other leaders to balance workload across the site. You’ll also lead large-scope projects that affect both site and regional operations, and work alongside support teams in Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to meet business objectives.

The physical demands of the role are real and consistent. You’ll

stand or walk for up to 12 hours

per shift, lift up to 49 pounds, and regularly push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.

The work environment includes

variable noise levels , variable temperatures, and

outdoor loading areas

at delivery stations. Sites with stairs require continuous climbing and descending throughout the shift.





Perks and Salary The base salary range for this position is

$98,900–$165,200 CAD annually , with final compensation determined by experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon’s total compensation package may also include

sign-on payments

and

restricted stock units (RSUs) .

Responsibilities The Operations Manager role covers both people leadership and operational execution. You’ll be accountable for your team's

safety, quality, productivity, and attendance

during shifts, while also taking on broader projects that shape site and regional performance. The duties below span daily shift management and longer-horizon planning work.

Support, mentor, and motivate

your salaried and hourly workforce throughout their shifts

Lead large-scope projects

with impact at the site and regional level

Build and execute productivity plans

through forecast reviews, determining productivity requirements, and partnering with other leaders to load balance

Manage safety, quality,



productivity, and customer delivery promises

to meet Amazon's expectations

Collaborate with support teams

including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to develop plans that meet business objectives

Perform physical tasks

including lifting up to 49 pounds and frequently pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching

Stand or walk for up to 12 hours

during shifts and continuously climb and descend stairs where applicable

Requirements / Skills Amazon requires a minimum of

3 years of employee and performance management experience

and either a

bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)

or at least 2 years of Amazon blue badge/FTE experience. Candidates must be available for a flexible schedule that includes weekends, nights, and holidays. Experience with

performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques

(1+ years) is preferred.
