Business Systems Analyst (6 month contract to start - Work from home/Downtown Toronto)

Responsibilities
As a senior analyst on complex programs, workwith business stakeholders to elicit and document requirements, collaborate onprocess models with an understanding of system capabilities, analyze dataneeds, assist in evaluating solutions, and ensure appropriate testing againstrequirements
Work collaboratively within the BusinessTransformation team and with key colleagues across the firm, including the Technologyteam and business subject matter experts in documenting functional, data, andtechnical requirements, and assist the project manager in defining projecttasks and business cases
Facilitate workshops with both business andtechnical colleagues to gather information for the development of technical requirements




Manage the prioritization of requirements forchanges to our core systems
Develop UAT test plans and support UAT withBusiness stakeholders
Oversee data mapping for integrationactivity between applications
Collaborate with project managers, developers,and other members of the cross-functional team
Guide and mentor junior team members, helpingensure consistency and quality
Requirements Minimum5+ years' experience as a Business Systems Analyst orBusiness Analyst
Diploma/Degreein business administration, computer science, information technology, orrelated field, or equivalent work experience
Abilityto communicate with business and technical stakeholders
Experiencewith Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Experiencein Waterfall and Agile-based projects
Abilityto work with Business Process models (BPMN)
Experiencewith User Interface and User Experience ( UX ) design, wireframing,and prototyping
Ideally experience with Data Engineering and Data Science Teams
Abilityto support multiple projects concurrently, balancing deliverables, andprioritizing across projects
Experience with DW and Microsoft Fabric is an asset
Stronginterpersonal skills
Resourcefulnessand creative problem-solving skills
