Wesdome Gold Mines is seeking a detail-oriented Geomatics Technician at its Eagle River Complex. This full time role requires a minimum of five years of experience and proficiency in GIS databases and map production. You'll work closely with geologists and engineers while ensuring operational efficiency and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Produce and maintain geological plans and maps
• Prepare technical drawings for exploration teams
• Ensure compliance with internal and industry standards
• Administer and maintain exploration databases
• Participate in continuous improvement of data workflows
Requirements:
• Diploma in Geomatics, geology, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of mapping software
• Familiarity with database management
• Very good communication skills in English
