Salary: $120,000.00 Annually

Overview:

Reporting to the VP, Commercial, the Business Development Director (BDD) is responsible for prospecting, closing and onboarding new business opportunities. The BDD serves as the instrumental contact for recent business referrals/inquiries and leads the prospecting process, as well as the ongoing relationship with clients and the growth of their portfolio. The BDD works closely with EHN leadership, Admissions, Client Care, Referent Relations, Business Development team-mates and other company resources to successfully transition referrals/inquiries into the EHN account base.

Salary starts from $120,000.00 + commission

Key Responsibilities:

Identify key groups, organizations and funding mechanisms to inform business development strategies. This will include but is not limited to, safety sensitive industries (transportation and logistics, construction and trades, oil, gas, mining, forestry), skilled labour, and unions.





Leading prospective efforts in Large & Mid-Market Corporate portfolios (new and dormant opportunities)

Managing leads from corporate and other specifically assigned segment(s) determined to be market priorities

Managing leads from B2B Marketing Inbound Funnel

Providing advisory, reporting and process enhancement recommendations for new business strategies and approaches

Participating in Professional Development Plans (IDP) for career growth

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Public Safety, or a related field (preferred)

5+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably with experience in Mental Health and Addictions

Strong understanding of corporate needs, challenges, and regulations in terms of overall Benefit Plans and Mental Health and Additions treatment

Proven track record of successfully driving sales and partnerships

Competence in territory mapping and using data analytics to develop target markets and organizations as well as track prescribing trends and sales performance

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to build rapport and trust with stakeholders at all levels.

Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.





Willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with mental health, addiction and trauma treatment

Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards

Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM for lead nurturing and documentation
