About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the planning, assessment, design review, and delivery of complex infrastructure and building projects in the Ottawa region. The successful candidate will bring solid technical expertise in electrical building systems, including power distribution, emergency power, lighting, fire alarm, and related building systems, combined with the ability to advise clients, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and oversee the successful execution of studies and capital projects. This role requires a practical problem solver who can balance technical excellence, stakeholder engagement, regulatory compliance, and project delivery to help clients make informed investment, maintenance, and operational decisions.

Oversee feasibility studies, maintenance studies, and construction/operations projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
Prepare detailed technical specifications and requirements, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Establish new project plans in consultation with stakeholders, including clients, outlining key milestones, timelines, and resource allocation for various projects.
Review and ensure adherence to the overall scope, schedule, and budget
Supervise, track, and report on performance against project requirements, schedule, milestones, budgets, quality measures, and KPIs, and address issues with corrective actions as appropriate
Provide specialized knowledge on building and portfolio-level electrical systems, including emergency power, lighting, fire alarms, building systems and other related systems.
Offer technical support and quality assurance, recommending improvements, maintenance, or repairs in a relevant, timely, and insightful manner. Contribute to continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
Develop and maintain detailed plans for various electrical studies, outlining objectives, methodologies and timelines. Conduct thorough technical analyses of electrical systems, identifying potential improvements, maintenance needs, and compliance with industry standards.
Implement quality assurance measures. Provide regular updates on progress of various electrical studies.
Stakeholder engagement with various client departments, acting as a liaison between the team, property managers, and contractors to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
Conduct reviews of various design deliverables submitted by project teams, ensuring compliance with technical standards and project requirements. Provide technical feedback and recommendations to projects teams to enhance the quality and feasibility of their designs.

Hybrid work environment (minimum four days per week in the office)

Minimum 8 years of experience in Project Management
Proven experience managing complex infrastructure projects from functional program development through design, implementation, and close-out
Construction management experience, including oversight of on-site construction activities
Local, Ottawa-based experience on Federal Government projects is an asset.
Experience building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships
Demonstrated ability to lead mid-sized, multidisciplinary project teams
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related discipline)
Holding a recognized Project Management Professional (PMP) certificationlike Project Management Professional (PMP), CAPM or Ready™ or other recognized Project Management certifications
Excellent bilingual written and verbal communication abilities in both French and English (bilingual)

Strong working knowledge of Project Management software
Thorough understanding of project management methodologies and best practices
Expert knowledge of tools and metrics used to evaluate project performance

Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines with minimal oversight
Strong conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a structured, technology-driven environment

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.
The base pay range shown below is intended as a guideline to reflect the majority of offers for this role. It does not represent a maximum limit — in some cases, actual compensation may exceed the range where appropriate.
