Role Description
We are looking for a Plant Manager to be the team leader of our production department. We need a people person who can effectively manage the different teams and build a strong workplace culture. Our team is enthusiastic and would benefit from a leader who can organize the daily workflow, assign work, train and teach staff, and provide opportunity for personal growth.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess solid skills in Plant Management and Plant Operations, with experience leading manufacturing facilities.
Candidates should possess skills in Operations Management to oversee productivity, safety, quality, and cost control.
Candidates should possess skills in Production Planning to manage schedules, capacity, and resource allocation.
Candidates should possess skills in Manufacturing Operations, including process optimization and equipment utilization.
Proven leadership experience managing teams in an industrial or glass manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental compliance in manufacturing settings.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with proficiency in using production data and KPIs.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels.
Experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or similar methodologies is an asset.
Post-secondary education in engineering, manufacturing, operations, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent work experience.
