SYSTRA Canada is looking for an experienced Soil Specialist to join their Rail & Transit Project team. You will review investigations, identify data gaps, and develop a comprehensive Excess Soils Management Plan. Your expertise will guide the team in soil characterization and compliance with Ontario regulations while coordinating with various stakeholders to optimize soil reuse strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review previous investigations and compile detailed reports
• Identify data gaps and development scope for DD&I;
• Lead soil management team to execute DD&I; work
• Oversee soil characterization and disposal requirements
• Ensure compliance with Ontario excess soils regulations
Requirements:
• Approximately 8 years of relevant experience
• Degree in Hydrogeology, Environmental Planning, or related field
• P. Geo or P. Eng certification required
• Familiarity with Canadian Standards Association criteria
• Experience in contaminated lands assessments
