Lead the delivery of major capital projects with a focus on new school construction and upgrades. The role involves project management, technical expertise, and stakeholder collaboration under the Business Services department.

Reporting to the Director of Capital Projects, you will manage projects from initiation through to completion. This position requires a minimum of six years of progressive project management experience, particularly in public sector construction. You'll work closely with various stakeholders, including architects and contractors, to ensure project goals align with the School Board's interests.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage projects ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion
• Liaise with contractors, architects and school authorities




• Conduct field reviews and prepare progress reports
• Oversee the development of construction contracts and tenders
• Maintain financial records and project cost reports

Requirements:
• University degree in Engineering or Architecture
• Six years of project management experience
• Knowledge of BC Building Code and contract management
• Robust negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Valid B.C. driver’s license
