As an Engineering Technologist I, you will conduct independent quality assurance audits on various civil construction projects across Edmonton. Collaborating with senior professionals, you will handle compliance evaluations, inspect assets, and mitigate liability while ensuring high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Audit private developer and utility construction projects
• Enforce servicing agreement conditions to meet municipal specifications
• Review applications for Construction Completion Certificates (CCC)
• Conduct defect assessments and author sign-offs
• Provide technical guidance and resolve field discrepancies
Requirements:
• Two-year diploma in Engineering Technology
• Eligible for Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.)
• Two years of hands-on experience in roadway construction
• Familiarity with municipal infrastructure auditing
• Solid negotiation and conflict-resolution skills
