Interim Controller / Senior Finance Leader (6 month contract)Location: Brantford, ONWork Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 day remote)Duration: 6 months (potential for extension)Overview:Our client, a large and established organization, is seeking an interim finance leader to support its accounting function. This role will oversee financial reporting across business units and is ideal for a hands-on senior accounting professional with strong large-company experience in US GAAP, SOX, and multi-entity environments.Key Responsibilities:Oversee accounting and financial reporting for multiple business units.Lead month-end close, including financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, and balance sheet reviewManage budgeting, forecasting, and working capital reportingSupport audit, compliance, and internal control requirements, including SOXHandle foreign exchange accounting across Canadian, U.S., and Mexico-based operationsLead, mentor, and support a small accounting team through a period of changePartner with leadership on reporting, analysis, and process improvement initiativesQualifications:CPA strongly preferred; equivalent designation or relevant depth of experience will be considered. 10+ years of progressive accounting or controllership experienceStrong background in large corporate environmentsDeep knowledge of US GAAP, SOX,
