In this role, you will collaborate with our Mechanical Engineering Manager to generate precise labor and material cost estimates. Leveraging at least five years of experience, you'll engage directly with customers during the bid phase, review blueprints, and partner with various teams. Your insights will drive successful project execution as you manage multiple estimates until completion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review proposals, blueprints, and specifications to assess project scope
• Communicate with customers during the estimation bid phase
• Identify labor, material, and time requirements for projects




• Create and submit cost estimates for managerial review
• Attend weekly bid meetings to update project status
Requirements:
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 5 years as an estimator or similar role
• Proficient in Excel and understanding electrical drawings
• Previous experience with switchgear and control panels
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement
