Models can recite physics and still get it wrong: dimensional errors, misapplied approximations, and derivations that skip the step where the physics actually happens.
As a Physicist you'll evaluate AI reasoning across mechanics, E&M;, quantum, and thermodynamics, and write solutions with the care of a good problem-set grader.
What you’ll actually do Craft problems that expose weak physical reasoning, from undergraduate mechanics to graduate-level theory.
Review AI solutions for dimensional errors, misapplied approximations, and skipped steps, and rate the reasoning.
Write the gold-standard solution when the model falls short, showing the physics clearly at every step.
Roles this fits Common backgrounds: Physicist, Research Scientist.
What we look for Graduate-level physics background or equivalent research experience.
Comfort working problems across at least two core areas of physics.
Transparent written English: your explanations are the training signal.
No degree required. We care about what you can do, not where you learned it.
Compensation Up to $40 – $125+/hr depending on task difficulty and specialization. Many contributors add $10k–$100k+ a year; some make it their full-time income.
About DataAnnotation DataAnnotation is where 100k+ experts train the world’s leading AI models. $150M+ paid to contributors to date, and the average contributor stays 5+ years. Flexible, remote, and always project-available.
