APW Brands has consumer electronic retail stores in airports around the country. We are currently looking for full time sales associates for our Raleigh-Durham International Airport Locations. Sales Associates receive a monthly commission based on their sales in addition to their hourly rate. The following are basic skills and requirements to be considered for the position:
- Build customer confidence by making the store experience interactive, engaging and reassuring
- Maximize customer experience by uncovering needs and offering solutions
- Maintain the visual appeal of the store
- Develop positive customer relationships
- Ensures customers are greeted and waited on quickly, efficiently and in a pleasant manner
- Assist in stocking and organizing displays ensuring that all merchandise is presented in a professional manner
- Operate the cash register, promote sales and assist customers
- Stock room quality controlling, processing, pricing and stocking merchandise
- Responsible for following and ensuring all safety rules are complied with and appropriate safety equipment is used
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous retail or customer service-oriented experience preferred
- Ability to listen carefully and actively
- Robust interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- General physical abilities to perform the clerical, cashier, merchandising
- Ability to lift and/or move heavy objects or to assist in this process
