Support adults facing housing challenges with Lookout Housing and Health Society in Vancouver, BC. This full time role will focus on tenant support, crisis intervention, and skills training.
As a Tenant Support Worker, you will report to the Site Manager and work closely with residents, providing assistance to promote their independence and stability. Key skills include developing service plans, ensuring basic needs are met, and maintaining detailed records. Your efforts will directly impact the healthier living arrangements of vulnerable individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in tenant intakes and support assessments
• Develop service plans and administer medications
• Ensure basic needs are continuously met
• Maintain evaluative data and required paperwork
• Assist with volunteers and practicum students on-site
Requirements:
• Diploma in Community Social Service
• Minimum two years relevant experience
• OFA 1 First Aid Certificate
• Criminal Record Clearance – Vulnerable Sector
• Class 5 BC Driver's License if required
