Compensation: Wage range starting at $23.00 per hour, based on experience, plus comprehensive group benefits

Hours:

40-44 hours per week

Alternating Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. required

Hours may vary depending on business needs

Position Summary

As the Counterperson/Shipper/Receiver, the individual will be performing Counter duties and Shipping/Receiving duties depending on the daily business needs. They will be required to provide quality customer service and assist with customer inquiries both in-person and over the phone using their own automotive knowledge, the company systems and parts catalogues. They will also be required to efficiently check, pick, pack, receive, ship, stock and organize automotive parts. They will help maintain the inventory and cleanliness of the store. They will be required to dispatch drivers and reliably deliver parts to our valued customers. The successful candidate will also assist with completing any necessary paperwork in an accurate manner. Effective use of resources, such as the company database and parts catalogue, will be required.

Key Responsibilities

Provide quality customer service and assist with customer inquiries both in‑person and over the phone using their own automotive knowledge, the company systems and parts catalogues

Answer inbound calls and ensure all calls are answered in a professional manner

Conduct follow‑up calls to customers as necessary

Support all store warehouse duties (picking orders, receiving, inventory control, shipping, stocking and organizing)

Coordinate the drivers for effective dispatching of vehicles

Efficiently and safely load auto parts onto delivery vehicles

Efficiently deliver parts, being mindful of customer requests

Help control inventory and ensure product availability

Complete necessary paperwork in an accurate manner

Collaborate with the main warehouse to resolve stock‑related concerns

Maintain a clean and organized store by keeping racking, shelves, pallet areas, workstations and shared spaces neat (organize products, sweep, dust, sanitize and mop)

Other reasonable duties as assigned by the management team

Key Requirements

Aftermarket automotive parts knowledge/experience required

2+ years of customer service experience required

G Driver’s License and clean 3-year abstract required

Picking, receiving, shipping, inventory control, and stock maintenance experience is an asset

Basic math skills and ability to sort alphanumerically

Basic computer skills (e.g. ability to use Outlook,



online database and web-based training)
