Successful applicants will provide individualized support and foster positive learning environments for children in before and after-school programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver play-based curriculum aligned with educational standards
• Engage positively with children and attend to their care needs
• Collaborate with parents and ensure communication about children's progress
• Complete daily logs and administrative tasks as required
• Model best practices for student teachers and guide volunteers
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
• Recent Police Vulnerable Sector Check
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Current certification in CPR-C and First Aid
• Experience with inquiry-based program design
