Position Summary
The Rebuyer will be responsible for ensuring optimal inventory availability and supporting efficient purchasing operations across the organization. The Rebuyer works closely with vendors, branch teams and purchasing to maintain accurate inventory, improve fill rates, and ensure products are available to meet customer and operational demands. The salary range for this role is $50,000 to 60,000.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure inventory levels remain in an in-stock position at all times.
Process purchase orders and review or amend auto-generated purchase orders as required.
Communicate and resolve SKU maintenance and product data issues.
Collaborate with vendors and internal purchasing teams to support inventory and procurement objectives.
Monitor vendor performance, including on-time delivery and fill rates, and take appropriate action to address concerns.
Ensure inventory is accurately accounted for and properly controlled.
Complete inventory on-hand adjustments and investigate discrepancies as required.
Maintain accurate inventory records and support inventory integrity initiatives.
Identify opportunities to improve inventory management processes and purchasing efficiency.
Provide exceptional internal customer service by responding promptly to inventory and purchasing inquiries.
Skills and Qualifications
A broad knowledge of building materials is necessary
Knowledge of Business Central computer ordering processes is required
Previous experience in a similar role is a must
Self-motivated, flexible and eager to learn new things
