Become a key contributor to JVD Installations’ maintenance team as a Journeyman Pipefitter in Norman Wells, NWT. Engage in pipe fabrication, installation, and collaborative work with other trades.
This role is for two experienced Journeyman Pipefitters who will manage pipe spools, valves, and demolition tasks. You’ll need to interpret blueprints, support various trades, and actively participate in safety discussions. Ideal candidates possess problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret COP Job Scope Work Sheet and P&ID;
• Assemble and install piping sections per blueprints
• Perform rigging tasks and identify lift points
• Conduct pipeline pigging for cleanup
• Assist in other trades as necessary
Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license with clean abstract
• Pipefitter certificate from recognized authority
• Experience with pipeline pigging preferred
• Ability to perform physically demanding work
• Willingness to work heights and in confined spaces
