Location: Various locations across Ontario
PhysicalTherapy Assistants (PTAs) work under the supervision of licensed physicaltherapists to implement treatment plans and assist patients in rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in implementingtreatment plans developed by physical therapists.
Help patients withexercises, stretches, and rehabilitation activities.
Monitor patient progress andprovide feedback to the supervising therapist.
Educate patients onexercises and self-care techniques.
Maintain equipment and ensure a clean and safetreatment environment.
Requirements
Associate’s degree from anaccredited PTA program.
State licensure orcertification as a physical therapy assistant.
Solid communication andinterpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of ahealthcare team.
