We are seeking a candidate with 5-7 years of payroll experience, specifically in UKG, to manage payroll activities. This role demands solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation, including compliance with Quebec regulations. You will oversee payroll auditing, funding, and year-end activities while ensuring confidentiality in all payroll matters.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll cycles using UKG
• Conduct payroll checks, reconciliations, and audits for accuracy
• Validate payroll inputs like terminations and benefit deductions
• Lead year-end activities including T4 and WCB filings
• Support payroll tax compliance across Canadian jurisdictions
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of Canadian payroll experience
• Strong knowledge of provincial payroll legislation
• Expertise in UKG and ADP is a strong asset
• NPI designation preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
