Senior Practice Specialist

$80,000 to $110,000 + Variable Compensation & Performance Bonus
Hello World Recruitment, founded by Jeremy Corbet, is recruiting an experienced Senior Practice Specialist for an established Canadian insurance brokerage.
This is a strong opportunity for a senior Commercial Lines professional who enjoys being the person others can rely on for complex processing, technical insurance questions, and day-to-day support.
You will join a Commercial Lines Service Unit supporting mid-market and large commercial accounts. This is a hands-on position with no direct reports, but you will act as a senior resource and escalation point for the team.
What You’ll Need
Active RIBO license
Minimum 5 years of Commercial Insurance experience
Experience with mid-market and/or large commercial accounts
Strong knowledge of Commercial Lines coverage and policy documentation
Strong understanding of insurer requirements and commercial policy transactions
Experience handling complex commercial accountsStrong problem-solving and organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Ability to provide guidance and support while remaining hands-on
EPIC experience is a robust asset
The Opportunity
In this role,
you will work closely with Producers, Senior Account Managers, and Senior Placement Brokers to ensure complex commercial accounts are handled accurately and efficiently.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Processing and administering mid-market and large commercial accounts
Managing renewals, endorsements, cancellations, policy changes, certificates, invoicing, and other policy transactions
Reviewing insurer documentation and maintaining accurate account information
Supporting complex and multi-policy commercial accounts
Resolving processing issues and discrepancies
Providing technical and procedural guidance to other team members
Acting as a senior escalation point for the Commercial Lines Service Unit
Supporting workload prioritization and operational issues when required
Supporting onboarding, workflow consistency, and process improvements
Compensation & Benefits
$80,000 to $110,000 annual compensation range
