Responsibilities & Qualifications Assist with routine maintenance and repairs across hotel facilities, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks
Support the troubleshooting and repair of equipment using schematics and technical manuals
Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other control systems to maintain building operations
Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to log work orders, track maintenance activities, and schedule preventive maintenance
Perform welding and basic fabrication tasks as needed to repair or modify equipment and fixtures
Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
Collaborate with team members to prioritize maintenance requests and ensure timely completion of tasks
Assist in inspecting facilities for potential issues,
including electrical systems, HVAC units, and structural components
Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest or staff maintenance requests with professionalism and courtesy
Qualifications
Prior experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
Basic electrical knowledge and familiarity with schematics are highly desirable
Mechanical aptitude with understanding of manufacturing or building systems
Strong communication skills in English for clear reporting and teamwork
Demonstrated leadership or supervising experience is beneficial for supporting team coordination
Knowledge of safety procedures related to electrical work, welding, and general facilities maintenance
