The Opportunity

To provide laboratory instruction, evaluation and supervision of students in the psychology laboratory including preparation of materials for use in the laboratory. Provides exceptional client-centred service on a consistent basis to all stakeholder groups.

Bachelor Degree in Psychology from a recognized post-secondary educational institution;

An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered.

Good working knowledge of the English language (verbal and written).





Good working knowledge of course content; operation and routine maintenance of laboratory equipment and apparatus; modern techniques including statistical analysis and computers pertaining to the instruction of Psychology courses.

Excellent working knowledge of preventative measures required for the safe operation of laboratory equipment.

This on-call, temporary position is available starting October 26, 2026

Hours of work will typically be scheduled between Monday to Friday, 8 am – 9.30 pm working 4 hours to 7 hours Scheduled hours range between 4 hours to 7 hours per day depending on the assignment.

Occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required.

The position is located at the New Westminster/Coquitlam campus; however, successful candidate must be available for occasional work at all Douglas College campuses and offsite locations.
