Our client, situated in the East End of Montreal is a leading manufacturer of automated industrial machinery serving a global clientele. They are looking for a dynamic purchasing and procurement agent who will be learn their products, methods and processes. You should ideally have a B.Eng Industrial Engineering, or a diploma in logistics or supply chain plus 8 years or more of relevant industrial purchasing experience including experience with the use of MRP or ERP systems, be fluently bilingual, and possess strong communication skills to negotiate with suppliers, job shops for machined parts, and contractors. The work setting is really good with many employees staying at this company for 25+ years.Salary 75-80k+, depending on experience plus excellent social benefits, and free parking on site.
