Consultant, Learning Change and Wellness (Temp FT - 18 months)

Salary Range: $57.09 To $66.80 Hourly
Posting Dates: October 8, 2026 to October 14, 2026
Contract Dates: December 2026 to June 2028 (may be extended or end sooner)

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
The Learning Change and Wellness Consultant facilitates and sustains a positive organizational culture through leadership development, design, delivery, and evaluation of corporate education and training opportunities; individual and team-based coaching and coordination of wellness initiatives for staff, leaders, physicians and volunteers . The Learning Change and Wellness Consultant will collaborate with human Resources, leadership and external partners to promote a culture of learning and well-being. Reporting to the Vice President of People Services and Strategy this individual will champion equity, inclusion and psychological safety in all programming. With our leadership team will develop strategies to improve employee engagement and cultivate behaviours designed to attract, develop, motivate, and retain healthy, productive employees.
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Social Work, Organizational Development, or Adult Education.
Professional Coaching Certification
Minimum of three (3) years’ work experience developing, implementing and delivering learning systems and programs.
Experience with leading change management toward sustainability across organizational-wide initiatives
Proven ability to design, manage, and deliver targeted learning and development initiatives, mentoring, coaching and feedback programs and tools that support individual, team-based and organizational learning.
Knowledge of and practical experience with organizational development and learning methodologies, theoretical frameworks, and approaches in a lean operating system.
Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with diverse groups of health care providers and stakeholders
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to positively influence others and develop trusting internal and external relationships
Advanced presentation, facilitation, teaching, consulting and relationship building skills
Computer skills include Microsoft 365, LMS, and other software systems appropriate for the role.
WHAT WE PREFER YOU TO HAVE:
Demonstrated understanding in a healthcare industry preferred
Certification or formal training in Trauma-Informed Care (e.g., SAMHSA, TIC certification programs), Mental Health First Aid and Crucial Conversations
Experience in the development, implementation and facilitation of Just Culture, Emotional Intelligence, and Leadership Programs
HOURS:
Monday through Friday (37.5 hours per week) with willingness to adjust schedule to meet the needs of the organization.
