We are currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our Tax: Inbound Advisory Services team. Our Inbound Advisory Services team helps foreign businesses establish, expand, and operate successfully in Canada, providing Canadian tax and business support in an international context. Working alongside experienced partners and advisors, you'll support clients navigating Canadian corporate tax, GST/HST, payroll, and regulatory requirements while collaborating with legal, payroll, and other professional advisors to provide practical, business-focused solutions. This is an chance to build specialized expertise in a growing niche area of tax and advisory services. Unlike many traditional tax roles, you'll gain exposure to a diverse range of cross-border business matters and develop both your technical and client advisory skills. This role offers flexibility, with the option to work hybrid or fully remote.

What You'll Do
Prepare and review Canadian corporate income tax, GST/HST, payroll, and information return filings for non-resident businesses operating in Canada
Assist with Canadian market entry and cross-border tax advisory engagements
Research and analyze Canadian tax legislation, regulations, and treaty provisions
Support the development of tax planning recommendations, technical memos, and client deliverables
Communicate directly with clients, government agencies, and external professional advisors
Identify tax risks, compliance considerations, and opportunities for improvement
Collaborate with Partners and Managers on complex client matters
Mentor junior team members and students
Contribute to the growth and development of the Inbound Advisory Services practice
What You Bring
CPA designation completed or in progress
3+ years of progressive Canadian tax experience, including corporate tax compliance, tax research, and application of Canadian corporate income tax principles
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a client-service environment
A proactive mindset and commitment to continuous learning
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment
Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members is an asset
Experience working on an international tax advisory team, global mobility tax advisory team, or sales tax advisory team is an asset
