Lead the manufacturing operations at a custom metal fabrication facility in Brampton, ON as a Shop Foreman. In this full time role, you'll drive daily productivity and oversee skilled teams on-site.
This hands-on position encompasses significant operational control, allowing you to take ownership of the plant floor while actively engaging with machinery and mentoring department leads. Your expertise in metal fabrication and effective leadership will drive process improvements along with a supportive executive team behind you.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead daily operations and troubleshoot production issues
• Supervise and mentor 3 Department Leads effectively
• Conduct daily operational reviews managing production schedules
• Enforce quality control and safety standards on all shifts
• Oversee hiring and performance evaluations of shop personnel
Requirements:
• 3–5+ years as a Shop Foreman or similar role
• Strong troubleshooting skills on industrial machinery
• Proven leadership abilities in fast-paced environments
• Knowledge of MIG/TIG welding and metal assembly
• Experience with manufacturing ERP systems
