CNL is seeking an Indigenous Engagement Officer to foster dialogues with First Nations and Indigenous communities. In this role, you will coordinate ongoing engagement, develop communication materials, and ensure project commitments are honored. You’ll play a critical part in enhancing how CNL collaborates with Indigenous stakeholders to reflect their voices in various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage with Indigenous Nations and organizations
• Schedule and coordinate engagement activities
• Document meeting notes and commitments
• Develop content for engagement communications
• Report on engagement interactions for compliance
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in Indigenous studies or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in Indigenous relations
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to promote cooperative engagement
• Valid driver’s license and security clearance eligibility
