This permanent position provides 35 hours per week for 10 months, starting ASAP. You will work closely with teachers and special education staff, offering professional assistance that encourages personal, social, and academic development. Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in developing and implementing individual education plans (IEPs)
• Support students with hygiene, eating, and life skills
• Aid in maintaining confidentiality of staff and student information




• Supervise students during lunch and physical activities
• Collaborate with teachers and special education resources

Requirements:
• Experience as an educational assistant is preferred
• Two years of post-secondary education in related fields
• Robust understanding of child development and special education
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff and students
• Valid Criminal Record Check required prior to employment
