At Mariposa Gardens, the Recreation Aide plays a vital role in enhancing the Team Member Experience while supporting residents. You'll engage in developing departmental procedures, assisting residents with program transport, and maintaining records per established policies. Your leadership in activities and orientation of recent residents will ignite social interaction and build community.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and revise departmental procedures with the Team Leader
• Set up activity areas and assist with resident transport
• Monitor residents' interests and progress consistently




• Maintain records and report participation feedback
• Lead activities that promote social engagement among residents

Requirements:
• First Aid certification required
• Diploma or Certificate in recreation/leisure studies preferred
• Experience working with seniors and understanding their motivations
• Understanding of leisure principles and computer proficiency
• Valid driver's license for transportation, if needed
