As a Registered Nurse at Step Up Step Down in Red Deer, you will provide crucial care to children and adolescents while working closely with families and a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will excel in assessment, critical thinking, and delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced setting, following the values of Recovery Alberta. Your role includes liaising with medical teams and mentoring peers, making strong relational skills essential.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver daily care to patients in the program
• Collaborate with families and the treatment team
• Utilize critical thinking for patient assessments




• Mentor and provide leadership within the nursing team
• Participate actively in care continuum initiatives

Requirements:
• Graduated from an accredited nursing program
• Eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Minimum five years' experience with children and youth preferred
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
