3. Business Systems & Integration

Work with stakeholders to understand existing business processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.

Support the transition of existing spreadsheet-, form-, and file-based processes into integrated web-based applications.

Assist with testing, implementation, validation, and ongoing support of new business applications.

Help establish reliable and auditable processes as systems become increasingly integrated.

Support the Reporting & Business Intelligence team in troubleshooting existing reporting, data, and integration issues.

Develop and maintain reporting solutions using Power BI, Power Query, Excel, and related technologies.

Work with data from operational and web-based systems to create meaningful reporting for business stakeholders.

Assist with data modelling, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and quality control.

Use SQL, databases, APIs, or other data sources to retrieve and prepare information for reporting.

Develop reporting capabilities that support Project Controls, Operations, Payroll, Safety, Assets, Finance, and other business areas.

Identify opportunities to improve reporting consistency, accessibility, automation, and data quality.

Gather requirements from technical and non-technical stakeholders and translate them into practical solutions.

Troubleshoot system, workflow, integration, and reporting issues.

Create and maintain system documentation, process maps, templates, standards, and inventories.

Train and support field and office personnel on new systems and processes.

Participate in testing and deployment of system enhancements.

Recommend improvements to workflows, systems, reporting, and data management practices.

Establish scalable solutions that can evolve as the organization's technology environment changes.
