Step into a key role with Seaspan as an On-Site Shift Crew Dispatcher at 10 Pemberton, North Vancouver. This position focuses on scheduling crew activities and ensuring adherence to qualifications and agreements for all vessels.

As a limited term 12-month employee, you'll support the Marine Personnel Department predominantly on-site. Major responsibilities include scheduling crew assignments, managing vacation entitlements, and advising on personnel policies. Your expertise in scheduling and understanding of the industry will be key to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Schedule and direct crewing for Seaspan vessels
• Manage vacation and leave entitlements for personnel
• Advise Mariners on Collective Agreement matters




• Document crew disputes and provide evaluations
• Assist as a relief Crew Dispatcher when necessary

Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12; scheduling experience required
• Background in Human Resources or Industrial Relations preferred
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel
• 12-18 months industry-related experience desired
• Robust interpersonal skills with attention to detail
