SUMMARY

We are looking to hire a Chiller Technician to join our team!

Responsibilities:

- - Experience in on-demand service calls on commercial, industrial and institutional chiller equipment specializing in Chillers and Cooling Towers
- - Able to perform planned maintenance on centrifugal, screw, reciprocating, and scroll compressors; with York, Daikin, Trane, Carrier, Smardt, Arctic Cool, Tandem, and Multistack chillers.
- - Experience conducting or assisting overhauls on chillers, troubleshooting, and diagnosing repairs needed.
- - Remains current with new technology and ability to adapt
- - Read, interpret, create and maintain drawings and specifications.
- - Install air conditioning, heating, and related equipment and components.
- - Overhaul and service air conditioning, heating units and systems.
- - Repair, replace and adjust worn or broken components on HVAC equipment
- - Repair and adjust refrigeration valves, piping connections, fittings, and couplings.
- - Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with heating and air conditioning systems.




- - Install motors, thermostats, humidistats and other HVAC components
- - Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned apprentices.
- - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all contemporary equipment and regulations.
- - Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- - Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by and in accordance with all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental company policies and government legislation/regulations.
- - Other duties as required
- - Provide exceptional customer service

Qualifications:

- - HVAC License & Gas required
- - 5 years experience in service and maintenance of chillers
- - Manufacturer training is an asset
- - Possess a valid driver license with a clean driving record.

This is a regular, full-time position with a salary range as per collective agreement.
