Are you a recent Business, Commerce, or Finance graduate looking for an opportunity to build a career in Private Equity, Investor Relations, and Capital Raising?

Our client, a growing Private Equity firm located near the Oakville/Burlington border, is looking for an ambitious Investor Relations & Business Development Associate to join their team.

This is an exciting chance for an early-career finance professional who wants to learn the business, build relationships with investment advisors, and develop toward a future role in Business Development and capital raising.

The Opportunity
You will work closely with the firm's team and advisor network, gaining hands-on exposure to Private Equity funds, investor relations, fundraising, and business development.

Approximately 80% of the role will focus on managing and developing existing advisor relationships, with 20% focused on identifying new Exempt Market Dealers and business development opportunities.

Responsibilities include

Managing relationships with advisors and capital partners

Responding to inquiries regarding funds, portfolios, distributions, and transactions





Educating advisors on the firm's funds and investment strategies

Supporting investor communications and fund administration

Maintaining accurate investor records and documentation

Identifying and developing new advisor and distribution relationships

Supporting the firm's capital-raising and business development initiatives

What We're Looking For

Recent graduate with a degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, or a related field

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Confident, personable, and comfortable building relationships

Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn

Genuine interest in Private Equity, investments, and capital raising

Ambitious and interested in developing a long-term career in Finance

Previous Private Equity experience is not required. We're looking for someone with the drive, personality, and curiosity to learn and grow.
