As a frontline Substance Use Worker, you will be instrumental in managing a caseload of up to 25 clients, providing them with tailored support. This position requires a minimum of two years’ experience delivering community-based services, with robust knowledge of Indigenous culture being a significant asset. You will engage in follow-up outreach, crisis intervention, and coordination of client care with community resources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and support a caseload of clients facing substance use issues
• Conduct ongoing follow-up outreach post-treatment
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation
• Facilitate group programs and interactions with clients
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in social work or psychology preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a substance use worker
• Lived experience with substance use challenges is an asset
• Valid First Aid certificate or in progress
• Valid Class 5 license and reliable vehicle
