The Revenue and Partnerships Coordinator, reporting to theSupervisor of Parks and Recreation Administration, is responsible for the planning, coordination, administration and implementation of sponsorship, advertising, booking and facility allocation services for the Parks and Recreation Department. The position supports revenue generation through sponsorship, partnerships, facility rentals and user group bookings while ensuring administration of systems, stakeholder engagement and compliance with departmental policies, legislative requirements and customer service standards.

Working closely with the Supervisor of Parks and Recreation, Administrative Support Services,



community organizations and external partners, the coordinator plays a lead role in developing funding opportunities, manages sponsorship agreements, administers facility booking processes and optimizes use of recreation facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day coordination and guidance to Facility Booking Clerks

Assist in assigning work, organizing priorities and supporting workflow efficiency

Act as a resource for staff on complex bookings, escalations and problem resolution

Support supervisory functions in the absence of the Supervisor of Administration, including during non-standard operating hours

Support the consistent and fair application of facility allocation policies

Monitor booking schedules and activities to identify inconsistencies or concerns, and optimize facility use

Escalate complex or sensitive allocation issues to the Supervisor, as required

Provide input into performance management and staff development

Develop, implement and manage sponsorship, advertising and fundraising initiatives to support Parks and Recreation programs, events, facilities and capital projects

Identify and cultivate relationships with corporate sponsors, community organizations, user groups and external stakeholders to maximize revenue opportunities

Negotiate sponsorship agreements and advertising opportunities in collaborations with Legal, Communications and other city departments

Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Completion of a two (2) year Community College diploma in Office Administration or an equivalent

Minimum of two (2)



years work experience in a leadership role

Working knowledge of accounting principles, accounts payable and accounts receivable would be considered an asset.

Strong understanding of computer applications such as Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook), Activenet, JD Edwards, Versatile and SharePoint. CRM, Visio, ArcGIS and escribe will be considered an asset.

Possesses excellent organizational, time-management, customer service, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills

Ability to guide and support staff in a team environment

Other duties as assigned

Additional Job Details:

TheRevenue and Partnerships Coordinatoris based on a 35-hour work week, with a one-hour unpaid lunch. Schedule may include shift work to support supervisory functions during non-standard facility hours

A hired candidate may be required to work evenings or weekends to provide support to Parks and Recreation division with events, tournaments, meets etc.

As a condition of employment, proof of current and valid certificate(s) and/or educational qualifications will be required.
