Job Description
Our client, a prominent construction firm with locations inKitchener and London, Ontario, is seeking two Residential Buildings PipingDesigners who possess over four years of experience in a comparable position.The organization is expanding and requires your expertise.
Your experience you bring will include:
Exposure to HVAC, fire protection, or broaderMEP systems
Experience in consulting engineeringenvironments
Your responsibilities will include:
Prepare and coordinate plumbing designdrawings for permit and construction under the direction of the ProjectEngineer or Project Lead.
Lead or assist in developing design briefs,verification requirements,
and project checklists to ensure quality andcompliance with standards.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, andinternal teams to maintain design intent and project milestones.
Review and issue shop drawings and supportconstruction services with site reviews and technical clarification.
Attend design and coordination meetings;record and distribute meeting minutes to the MEP Project Lead.
Other related duties as assigned by thePlumbing or MEP Division Leads.

Required Skills / Experience
Diploma or post-secondary education in Mechanical Technology, Architectural Technology, Building Systems, or a related technical discipline
Revit experience
Valid driver’s license and ability to attend project sites when required
