Contribute to patient care as a General Duty Sonographer at Shared Health's Thompson General Hospital. This in-person role is focused on ultrasound services crucial for patient health.

The General Duty Sonographer is responsible for conducting diagnostic sonography within the Thompson Hospital Sonography unit. Ideal candidates will have completed an accredited ultrasound training program and possess patient care experience. Registration with Sonography Canada or ARDMS is required, alongside CPR training.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations for patients
• Maintain accurate records and reports on sonography
• Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary healthcare team




• Demonstrate effective communication with patients and staff
• Travel to different Shared Health sites as necessary

Requirements:
• Graduate from an approved Ultrasound training program
• Active registration with Sonography Canada or ARDMS
• CPR certification in compliance with employer policy
• Solid organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to lift items up to 10 kg and handle interruptions
