Enhance community infrastructure as a Water Treatment Operator at the Frobisher Depot. This permanent position involves operating essential equipment and maintaining water systems for local services.
You will be part of the Community Infrastructure team within Linear Infrastructure Services, reporting to the Distribution/Collection Foreperson. Your role includes operating system components, performing maintenance, and assisting various trades. A valid Ontario Class “DZ” driver’s license is essential, along with an Operator In Training certification.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain water distribution facilities
• Transport personnel and equipment for operations
• Load and unload trucks using mechanical devices
• Supervise up to three workers during tasks
• Collect samples and perform routine lab tests
Requirements:
• Completion of Secondary School (Grade XII)
• Valid Ontario Class “DZ” driver’s license
• Certification as an Operator In Training
• Six months related experience preferred
• Ability to complete required shift reports
