You will lead complex improvement, capacity and equipment projects at PWC from start to finish. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams and make sure projects meet their deadlines, budgets, and quality and safety standards. This is a hands-on role: you analyze the data, build the plan, bring people on board and stay on the floor until the results are delivered. You will work closely with Operations, Maintenance, Quality and Engineering.
Responsibilities
Project management
- Own and deliver capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives, covering scope, schedule, budget and results
- Identify, analyze and justify project needs and build the business case
- Coordinate project activities, schedules and multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor work on site while projects are carried out
- Find, assess and communicate project risks early, and put mitigation plans in place before they affect delivery
- Bring stakeholders on board (production supervisors, operators, managers) and gain their support without direct authority
- Report progress, decisions and recommendations to leadership
Equipment and plant projects
- Research and coordinate the purchase of recent equipment
- Support equipment installation and commissioning
- Take part in plant layout changes and the introduction of new manufacturing technologies
Capacity analysis
- Run detailed capacity studies by cell, department and production line
- Analyze load versus capacity and propose scenarios such as equipment, workforce, shifts or automation
- Build and maintain capacity calculation and simulation models
- Propose action plans that match capacity to manufacturing demand
Continuous improvement and bottlenecks
- Use operational data (cycle time, yield, WIP, turnaround time) to identify improvement opportunities
- Map process flows, find critical constraints, and remove or reduce bottlenecks through line balancing, re-routing, investment or automation
- Measure the impact of each action and adjust plans as needed

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Production, Manufacturing, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (a project management degree is also considered)
- 3+ years of experience in aerospace or manufacturing (MRO an asset)
- Proven, solid experience managing projects from start to finish
- Skilled with project management tools such as MS Project or Primavera
- Strong knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma, plus solid data analysis and modelling skills
- Good command of French (primary working language); English is an asset
