CAPE, representing over 27,000 federal public sector employees, is seeking a Senior Advocacy and Public Affairs Advisor. In this Level 5 position, you'll develop strategies, manage stakeholder engagement, and keep CAPE members informed about labor policy developments. Your experience in government relations and policy advocacy will help elevate CAPE's influence.
Key Responsibilities: • Develop CAPE's advocacy positions with collaborative teams • Lead public policy initiatives with CAPE stakeholders • Foster relationships with elected officials across Canada • Advise senior management on public affairs strategy • Support media and outreach efforts
Requirements: • University degree in relevant fields • Minimum four years of related experience • Proven advocacy and campaign management skills • Fluency in English and French • Experience with NGOs or unions as an asset
