Empower families in Calgary as a Housing Support Worker with Closer To Home Community Services. This role focuses on life-skills programming, housing stability, and community support.

In this permanent full time position, the NEOMA Facilitator & Housing Support Worker will work closely with families at the NEOMA building. Responsibilities include delivering tailored workshops, providing individualized coaching, and connecting families with community resources to build resilience. You will collaborate with partner agencies, fostering a supportive environment for families facing challenges such as mental health and addictions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver skill-building workshops for tenants
• Conduct in-home visits for personalized support




• Apply Housing First approach for families in need
• Host community-building events and foster tenant relationships
• Negotiate with landlords for the Home Again program

Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in Social Services or related field
• 1-2 years of housing support experience required
• Strong advocacy and communication skills
• Clean driver's abstract and liability insurance needed
• First Aid/CPR Level C certification required
