Under the supervision of the Quality Manager, the Quality Inspector - Building Division ensures that on-site construction work complies with the project Quality Plan, inspection and test plans, and contractual requirements. The role involves performing site inspections, identifying non-conformities, and coordinating corrective actions until full resolution. Acting as a key link between site stakeholders and the quality team, the Quality Inspector actively contributes to the successful delivery of Pomerleau’s building projects.

What you will do

Act as a liaison between site stakeholders and the Quality Manager;

Identify quality issues and deviations from the quality assurance system;

Ensure that operations are controlled and followed through until complete resolution of any identified issues;

Implement non-conformance reports and corrective actions;

Perform site inspections in accordance with PRIE requirements;

Report all site deviations to the Quality Manager;

Prepare execution procedures required for the project;

Verify the on-site application of technical changes issued by professionals;

Ensure work compliance with shop drawings and other submitted technical documents;

Implement the Quality Plan and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs);

Complete and maintain quality-related records and ensure proper follow-up;





Conduct inspections independently with site personnel in accordance with ITPs;

Compile and analyze data and statistics related to non-conformities;

Supervise deficiency listings and follow up on corrective actions;

Monitor and follow up on site material procurement.

This role could be for you if you have

A bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Civil Engineering or Architecture;

Relevant experience in the construction industry and quality management;

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite software;

Strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities;
