This is a temporary part-time position (80% FTE) within the Children's Medical Care department at IWK Health. You'll utilize your advanced nursing competencies to assess, diagnose, and manage pediatric patients with gastrointestinal issues effectively. Holding a Master’s degree in Nursing and current certification, you will provide holistic, family-centered care while driving team efficiency and quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive physical assessments for pediatric patients
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and manage medical conditions




• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient-centered care
• Educate families on disease processes and health promotion
• Lead clinical policy development and enhance nursing practices

Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Nursing with Nurse Practitioner Certification
• 5 years of pediatric nursing experience
• 2 years of GI nursing experience preferred
• Current license with Nova Scotia Nursing Regulator
• Competence in BLS and NP-led clinic management
