Salary Grade: 14 ($87,992 - $109,990 annually)

Are you a detail-oriented and collaborative professional who thrives on organizing complex information and keeping projects on track?

The Coordinator, Program Planning and Analysis supports the planning, tracking, and reporting of project and program information. This role works closely with internal teams and external partners to help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with quality and regulatory standards.

What You’ll Do
Program Planning & Coordination

Maintain and track project data including resources, timelines, and costs across capital (including reactive capital) and maintenance programs

Coordinate activities across internal teams and external partners to support successful project delivery

Facilitate meetings with internal teams and contractors to monitor progress and address risks or roadblocks

Support Managers, Program Delivery with insights on program performance, achievements, and risks

Reporting & Analysis

Prepare and analyze reports related to resource allocation, planning, and expenditures

Conduct variance analysis and exception reporting to identify trends and areas of concern

Provide clear, structured updates to stakeholders to support decision-making

Process Improvement & Systems

Contribute to the development and implementation of project management methodologies and tools

Monitor project performance and recommend improvements to processes, templates, and workflows

Identify opportunities to streamline or automate processes to enhance efficiency and service delivery

Stakeholder Collaboration

Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, contractors, and external partners

Liaise with stakeholders to gather project information, respond to inquiries, and communicate updates

Partner with teams across Asset Strategy and Operations to review outcomes and drive continuous improvement

Compliance & Support

Ensure work aligns with legislative, regulatory, and Health & Safety requirements

Provide technical and analytical support for planning, design, and execution of projects and initiatives





Support additional responsibilities as required

Perform additional tasks as assigned to support operational objectives

Education & Technical Knowledge

Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is considered an asset

Experience with business analysis and project planning practices

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Experience with project management tools (e.g., Oracle Primavera) is an asset

Understanding of project scope, requirements, and processes within the utilities sector is an asset

Experience

Approximately 3+ years of experience in planning, scheduling, or quality control within a production or similar environment

Experience developing and maintaining master schedules aligned to reporting requirements

Experience working with ERP systems is considered an asset

Experience in a unionized utility environment is an asset

Skills/Abilities/Competencies

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights

Transparent and effective communication skills, with the ability to present technical information in a concise and structured way

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Strong collaboration skills and ability to build relationships across teams

Valid Class “G” driver’s license

Where you will work

Hybrid: This role is based in a hybrid environment, allowing for a mix of remote and in-office work to support team collaboration and business needs.

Compensation

At Alectra, Compensation for non-union positions is determined within a defined salary range for each role. Placement within the salary range depends on several factors, including qualifications, relevant experience, and alignment with the role’s requirements. We consider internal equity and market competitiveness to ensure fairness and consistency across the organization.

This position is eligible to receive an annual incentive payment based on a combination of individual and Company performance.
