Lead Conestoga's Indigenous Student Success Strategy as a full-time, contract Implementation Advisor. Engage with Indigenous voices, manage implementation processes, and foster community relationships.
This role requires an individual grounded in Indigenous worldviews to ensure effective execution of the strategy. The Advisor collaborates with Indigenous students, Elders, and community partners while reporting directly to the Vice President Students and Registrars. You'll play a crucial part in developing a multi-year roadmap, establishing accountability mechanisms, and monitoring progress towards Indigenous student success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead strategy execution and coordination across the institution
• Finalize the Indigenous Student Success Strategy with stakeholders
• Develop a comprehensive implementation roadmap and governance structures
• Assess organizational readiness and identify resource gaps
• Build relationships with Indigenous communities and identify partnership opportunities
Requirements:
• First Nations, Inuit, or Métis with community connections
• At least seven years in strategic initiatives and Indigenous engagement
• Solid skills in relationship-building and organizational change
• Proven facilitation abilities with diverse groups
• Proficiency in project management and analytical tools
